I was born in Phoenix, AZ and lived there until I was 6yrs old when we moved to Menifee, CA for my dad’s work. I grew up around all kinds of animals, we had 6 horses and 3 family dogs. Buddy a Golden Lab, Princess a Miniature Schnauzer, & Jess a Queensland Heeler/Australian Shepard mix. In June of 2007 I got my own fur baby and I’ve been even more obsessed with animals than I was before! When I was 14 we moved back to Phoenix and lived there until February 2022 when I moved to Kansas to be here for my dad after his health deteriorated. I always knew from a young age that I wanted to help animals. However that was sadly put to the side for a while until I decided 2.5 years ago to just put all the worries aside and jump all in. That was when I started as a receptionist at my first clinic. I’ve been hooked ever since and I knew when I moved to Kansas I had to stay in the field because this is where my heart is.

I currently have a little pack of my own consisting of 8 dogs and 2 cats.  Precious my 15yr old epileptic Chihuahua who is the apple of my eye and made me a fur mama. She is absolutely crazy no doubt but she is the sweetest little thing you could ever meet! Sweet Pea a 9yr old Min-Pin Chihuahua who is absolutely insane. I honestly don’t know where she gets all the spunk and energy but she is the sass queen that’s for sure. Angel an 8yr old teacup Chihuahua who is the loudest of them all. She definitely has little dog syndrome but she really is the sweetest cuddliest little girl and keeps the little dogs in check. Lexie a 7yr old Rottie/German Shepard mix who is the goofiest girl, she’s the literal definition of a gentle giant and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Callie a 4.5yr old Chocolate Lab/Pit-bull mix who is crazy! She’s super shy and a bit stand offish when she first meets you but once she’s comfortable watch out her crazy goofy side comes out. Bentley a 4.5yr old Great Dane mix with 3 legs. I have no idea what he’s mixed with but he is the clown of the pack that’s for sure. He’s always hopping around in circles on the floor to make people laugh. Bella a 1.5yr old Boxer/Pit/Husky Mix who is just as crazy as the others. She loves to chase lightning bugs and snowflakes. She has no clue how to run only leap, seriously she leaps like a deer it’s kind of crazy. Oaklynn Rhea a 1yr old German Shepard who is the cutest baby and knows it. She loves her picture being taken and is probably our most photogenic pup of the pack. Side note she’s my birthday twin, talk about crazy what are the odds? Ripley a 9m old one eyed crooked tailed kitten. We have No idea what happened to her we got her when she was about a week old and we weren’t sure she was going to make it. She was brought into a clinic that my sister worked at as a stray, extremely malnourished, and had many other health problems. We nursed her back to health and she has definitely wiggled her little self into the very depths of my heart and made me the biggest cat momma! Of course we had to get her a little playmate and that is where Kinsley a 10m old tabby/bengal/tortie mix comes in. She is our spitfire, a very snuggly social girl but a spitfire. She has no problem putting any of the others in their place and she and Lexie are the best of friends!

In my downtime I love spending time with my fur babies and family. My favorite season is summer and that’s because I’m a sucker for spending time at the lake on the boat or a paddle board. I one day hope to have some property with a pond that I can paddleboard on with my dogs and be able to get some more horses!
