Michael was born in Wichita, KS and grew up with a variety of animals. After graduating from Wichita Northwest High School, he attended the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology. His plan is to continue his veterinary education and pursue a career as a veterinarian.

Michael has a Golden Retriever named Libby, a Pit Bull mix named Daisy, a cat named Phoebe, and two freshwater fish tanks with a variety of small fish, snails, shrimp, and crawfish. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball, and hunting.
