Susan was born and raised in North Carolina. She has two daughters who have recently graduated from the University of Central Florida, and a son who is a junior in High School. She moved to Wichita in September of 2022, and she quickly felt right at home! With her interest in aviation as well as her love of animals, Wichita became the perfect place to settle into.

Having grown up with a variety of pets her whole life, she knew she wanted a career working with animals. With many years of combined experience, Susan started as a kennel technician at 15 years old, and has moved through different positions as an assistant and technician throughout the years. 

Susan currently has a 4 year old female German Shepherd named Lola, a 10 year old female Aussie mix named Merle, and a 14 year old orange tabby cat named Sam, who is aptly named after Sam Witwicky from Transformers.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, learning about aviation, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones doing anything that comes to mind or is spur of the moment!

She is very excited to be part of the PRAH family and loves how welcoming Wichita has been to her!
